Microorganisms: Bacteria, Viruses, Parasites, and Toxins (2-hour class)

In this class we will review the microorganisms that are essential to be familiar with for the RD exam. This is an interactive, comprehensive, and visual class that will give you practical tips and tools to help you memorize all of this information. We will review bacteria, viruses, parasites, and toxins as well as the foodborne illnesses they may cause, with symptoms, contamination sources, and onset times. We will wrap up the class with practice questions to ensure you feel confident in answering questions about microorganisms on the RD exam!
You will learn:
- The different types of microorganisms
- Typical symptoms of foodborne illnesses from each microorganism
- Onset times of foodborne illness
- Invaluable memorization techniques

If a cancellation is made with less than 2 days remaining before the class, you can transfer your ticket to an upcoming class.

A class will be cancelled if there are less than 4 participants. We will either issue you a refund or you can apply the ticket to a future class.Â
