~~About Us~~
Our program offers students an opportunity to earn a Master of Public Health degree while completing a Dietetic Internship. This prepares learners to sit for the Registration Examination for Dietitians. Our program has a public health nutrition focus with a seed-to-plate-to-prevention philosophy. Our students learn about this philosophy through coursework that involves our Holistic Garden, Demonstration Kitchen, and Simulation Lab which features a High-Fidelity 3-G Manikin. We are located in the Texas Medical Center (TMC), the largest medical complex in the world. Our students have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of supervised practice experiences within and outside of TMC and have the opportunity to practice public health in a city that is ethnically and linguistically diverse, rich in arts, food, and culture, and boasts 3,000 acres of green space.
