The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County Dietetic Internship is accepting candidates for our 2026-2027 class year during Spring Open Enrollment.  If you know a student looking for comprehensive, hands-on experience that will equip them with the skills necessary for a rewarding career in dietetics, please send them our way.

We have seats available in Pasco County (2), Miami-Dade County (1), and Escambia County (2).  Students benefit from small cohorts with a dedicated coordinator in each county.  Our program stands out for the variety of experiences provided, our dedication to RD exam preparedness, and the opportunity to pay for the internship with a work service obligation to WIC after graduation.  Students also have the chance to complete their graduate degree concurrently with the internship through the University of North Florida.

We are accepting applications from now through April 15th on DICAS.  We are hosting a virtual Open House for interested candidates on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 3:00pm ET.
